Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcakes

Today was a non-academically productive day. Hehe. Went to the city to for some shopping as Pa's birthday treat to me. :))) Although I was actually setting out to buy a certain something, I decided to spend the money on... other stuff. ;) Reached home around mid afternoon and whoop-whoop, I started baking 'Gooey Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting'!

Word of caution: these cupcakes are NOT your friends. They smile sweetly at you but behind your back, they bitch and say awful things about your hair. These cupcakes hurt your diet, destroys your morning work-out and they upset puppies. There's chocolate and peanut butter on top of more chocolate and peanut butter. Oh, there's sugar as well.

I mean, sureee they are probably the yummiest cupcake combo ever, but they are evil lil' bastards. Sorry.

But you know, I tried one for purely noble and selfless purposes. ;)

No, I'm not disclosing the recipe because sometimes, ignorance is bliss. People who says otherwise has clearly never heard the ugly truth.

Surprisingly, my humble lil 3-in-one microwave oven isn't fairing too badly. I've to tweak the baking time a bit lot and the heat isn't always evenly distributed.. but, it gives results. :)

Why, hello there. 

Probably my favourite part was making whipping the butter and peanut butter together. It smells heavenly and the texture was so silky smooth that a tofu might cry.

Yes, I know my frosting decoration skills are close to zero but I'm learning, okay??!!
